You can sign up for our free weekly Absorbent Hygiene Waste Collection online.
- Collections take place every Friday across the borough
- Please put your items out by 7am on collection day
What happens after you register?
Once you鈥檝e signed up:
- You鈥檒l be provided with yellow hygiene sacks
- These will be delivered by our crews on your next scheduled collection day
Need more sacks? No problem鈥攜ou can request extra yellow hygiene sacks online.
Please note: Requests made after 12 noon on a Thursday won鈥檛 be processed in time for Friday鈥檚 collection and will be booked for the following week.
Where to leave your items
Place your sacks at your usual recycling collection point.
What you can put in your yellow sacks
You can use the sacks for:
- Nappies
- Incontinence pads
- Stoma bags
What you can鈥檛 put in your yellow sacks
Please don鈥檛 include:
- Clinical waste (such as dressings or gloves)
- General household waste
- Catheter bags or tubes
Items like these won鈥檛 be collected.
Important things to know
- You must use the yellow hygiene sacks provided鈥攐ther bags won鈥檛 be collected
- Sacks should only be used for hygiene waste
If sacks are used for general waste:
- They won鈥檛 be collected
- A Waste Warden may visit
- You could be removed from the service
Additional information
- The service is for households only
- Registered childminders can use the service, but charges will apply
- The service is not available to care homes, nursing homes, or hospitals

- Your My Services username and password, or
- To create an account if you don鈥檛 already have one
